Background Information
For those who are curious, I joined NYGH in July 2018. Back then, my ICT skills were basic; limited to only being able to use Microsoft Office effectively only.
At this point, I am definitely still am not an expert, but I am glad to say I have mastered most of the G suite tools. You are reading this on a Google site! I have been able to integrate most of these tools to aid in T&L for collaborative learning and even to ease my various administrative duties.

2021 HBL Update
HBL lasted 1.5 weeks, or a total of 7 days this year from 19th to 28 May 2021.
On top of the usage of Zoom or GMeets for eCCAs and synchronous lessons, I used a "progress tracker" assigned to every student in my Google Classroom for asynchronous work and tracking.
A new tool I explored this year was also Deck Toys.
Progress Tracker in Google Classroom
I used these two trackers for my IP students (human eye) and my O-level students (reproduction in man). Click on the links!
Embedded in every progress tracker was a list of different activities, which included videos, slides, Kahoot quizzes and Deck Toys where students could access in their own time and have the opportunity to learn independently.
Activities were classified as "must-do", "good to do" and "optional" so that it was differentiated for the learners.
There was a column for student reflection where I could subsequently respond to every student's reflections or questions to provide more customised feedback.

Deck Toys
Deck Toys is a powerful website and tool to use for asynchronous learning. You can upload various "study sets" onto the website, which will then generate a board where students can explore.
Inside every board, you have the freedom to customise the games, or allow the site to auto generate the games for you based on your "study sets" you have uploaded.
It took a while to learn how to create my own deck. Watching these videos on YouTube was very helpful.
This is a screenshot of the board I built to be used for the "Human Eye" as an asynchronous activity for my students during 2021 HBL.
This is a screenshot of the first board I ever attempted to build in Deck Toys on the topic of "Transport in Man". It contained two study sets (see the left of the image), which were "parts of a human heart" and "blood vessels".
2020 HBL curation
Below are some curated materials I created for HBL in 2020. As it was all part of the process of experimentation, some of the work done is a little rough around the edges.
Click the link above to check out my YouTube channel. It currently covers only a narrow range of topics that I have filmed myself teaching.
I use "screencastify" (chrome extension) for my recordings.
Some of my earlier videos are more amateurish when I first started out recording myself.
The discovery of this education tool was pretty life changing for me! This website allows the user to insert questions and comments to videos you want students to view.
